1. Identification

This website is owned and operated by Obraatelier 230, Unipessoal Lda., trading as Alma de Luce, with registered office in Joane, Portugal, and Portuguese taxpayer number (NIF) PT509444598 (hereinafter referred to as “Alma de Luce”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

For any matter related to these Terms, you may contact us at bdm@almadeluce.com.

2. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website available at almadeluce.com and any related landing pages operated by Alma de Luce (the “Website”), as well as the initial commercial relationship arising from the submission of a project brief through the Website.

By accessing the Website, submitting a contact form or otherwise interacting with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website.

3. Nature of Our Services

Alma de Luce is a Portuguese manufacturer of bespoke and private label furniture for hospitality, residential and large-scale projects. The Website is an informational and lead generation platform; it is not an online store and no products are sold directly through it.

Any supply of products or services is governed by a separate written commercial proposal, order confirmation or contract agreed between Alma de Luce and the client. In case of conflict, the specific commercial agreement shall prevail over these Terms.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you shall not:

  • provide false, inaccurate or misleading information in our forms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its underlying systems;
  • use the Website to transmit malware, spam or any unlawful content;
  • reproduce, copy or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content displayed on the Website, including texts, images, photographs, illustrations, videos, drawings, logos, trademarks and the overall visual identity, is the property of Alma de Luce or of its respective licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark and industrial property laws.

No element of the Website may be reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without the prior express written authorisation of Alma de Luce. Project images may include works developed in collaboration with third parties (architects, interior designers, hospitality groups) and remain the intellectual property of their respective authors.

6. Project Submissions and Confidentiality

When you submit a project brief, drawings, renders or other documents through our contact form, you confirm that you are entitled to share such materials and that doing so does not infringe any third party rights.

Alma de Luce will treat the information received as confidential and will use it solely to assess your request, prepare a commercial proposal and contact you about the project.

7. Commercial Proposals

Any quotation, estimate or proposal provided by Alma de Luce is non-binding until a written order confirmation is issued or a specific contract is signed. Prices, materials, lead times and technical specifications are subject to confirmation in that proposal.

8. Liability

The Website is provided on an “as is” basis. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep its contents accurate and up to date, Alma de Luce does not guarantee that the Website will be free of errors, interruptions or technical failures.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alma de Luce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully limited under Portuguese or European Union law.

9. External Links

The Website may contain links to third party websites or services (for example, meeting scheduling tools or social networks). Alma de Luce does not control such websites and is not responsible for their content, practices or privacy policies.

10. Data Protection

Personal data submitted through the Website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

Alma de Luce may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the “Last updated” date above.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the use of the Website shall be submitted to the competent courts of the district of Porto, Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory jurisdiction applicable to consumers under Portuguese or European Union law.

In accordance with Law no. 144/2015 of 8 September, consumers may also resort to the alternative dispute resolution entities listed on the Portuguese Consumer Portal at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
